MARKETING/PROMOTIONS OPPORTUNITY WITH EAST MIDLANDS NETBALL
An opportunity has arisen within East Midlands Netball that will not only enhance your CV as well as you gain specific work experience but it also has the potential for interacting with a number of key stakeholder organisations.

The role of the East Midlands Netball Recognition and Profile TSG is to raise the profile of netball in the East Midlands (Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire), from grassroots netball to elite athletes, using a variety of marketing and communication platforms.

The group is currently recruiting new members.

This is an ideal part time position (hours variable but relatively flexible), especially to those who are interested in a career in marketing, sport management, media or communications.

Netball experience is NOT at all an essential requirement.

Applicants should have an understanding or experience in one or more of the following:

• Marketing
• Journalism
• PR
• Sponsorship
• Event Management
• Media and Communications
• Professional and amateur sport structures

A successful applicant would, as a member of the TSG, be jointly responsible for the construction of marketing and communication platforms and promoting the different levels of netball and related events and celebrations across the East Midlands region.

As part of the group’s remit, a successful applicant will also be responsible for the planning and event management of the annual regional celebration event.

The Recognition and Profile TSG sits within the governance structures of the East Midlands Regional Netball Association and reports to the Regional Management Board.

This is a part time voluntary position but out-of-pocket expenses will be covered.
