Lightning vs Leeds Met Carnegie 11th November 2005

Loughborough's international midcourt of Jade Clarke, Olivia Murphy and Karen Atkinson were too fast and too slick for Leeds Met Carnegie this evening, and with former England international Alex Astle and Lisa Stephenson scoring at will, Loughborough dictated the pace all the way through the game. Loughborough coach Rose Port took the opportunity to run her bench in the second half, and Welsh international Becky James, on court for Astle, was particularly impressive, scoring at 92% for the second half.
