Leeds Met Carnegie 37 vs 64 Loughborough

The match started with pace with Loughborough pulling away from Leeds Met Carnegie with some excellent shooting coming from ex England International Alex Astle. There were some convincing turn overs by the Loughborough defensive unit. Leeds had periods of strong play and opportunities which were converted by Vicky Phillips who showed tremendous accuracy for Leeds in their shooting circle.

By the fourth quarter Loughborough were firmly in the lead and had the chance to change a few combinations around bringing on Welsh international Becky James at Goal Shooter and England International Ama Agbeze at Goal Defence.
