Lightning vs Brunel Hurricanes 06th January 2006

England defender Sonia Mkoloma put in an inspired second half performance to drive her Brunel Hurricanes teammates to a hard fought win over Loughborough. The Lightning side, without key attacking stars Ama Agbeze and Alex Astle, worked hard to bring the ball through centre court, and led 21-19 at half time. However, the second half was all about Brunel, and with Abby Teare and Josie Leutton shooting well, the Uxbridge-based side drew level and then eased ahead to take the points and go second in the table.
